The practice of the profession of Immigration Adviser requires “professional indemnity insurance” following the regulatory requirements by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) and this liability insurance is limited to the required amount of £1,000,000 for any one claim and yet again, following the regulatory requirements, we are insured through Hiscox Insurance Company.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection.
Our fees and procedures:
Our services are calculated based on our scale of charges, which start at £50.00 and we will be happy to explain and discuss this on request, having first taken instruction as to your requirements. Charges vary depending on some factors including the complexity of the proposed work involved. A list of prices can be consulted at any time.
You, as a client, will always be informed comprehensively and transparently about our fees and their breakdowns and costs.
If the quote is provided verbally by telephone or in writing in email correspondence and you proceed to the scheduling stage, the quote will be noted in the diary entry relating to your appointment. It will be reviewed and explained at the appointment before any work is commenced.
If any additional instructions are provided by you that result in additional work being carried out, then we reserve the right to review the fees and will inform you before any additional work is commenced.
Work will begin at a mutually agreed time and we will inform you of the time scales involved in each procedure.
Direct immigration advice matters are usually dealt with within 30 minutes to an hour and the consultation fee is £50 payable in advance.
You will be informed of the progress of your case at each significant stage and we will provide an estimate of completion times at the start of the matter regularly and the reasons for any delays.
Fees do not include (VAT) at the current rate and you will receive a written receipt at the time of payment with a breakdown of work carried out and other costs and disbursements will be listed on the invoice.

How to make a complaint
EJR Legal Services will always try to provide you with an opportunity to tell us about your concerns and will work with you to try to resolve them.
- If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, you may initially wish to discuss this with your consultant to see if the matter can be resolved quickly;
- If you have spoken to your adviser or do not wish to discuss your concerns with them, you can make a formal complaint;
- You can make your complaint verbally or in writing to Mr Edmar da Rocha, Director of EJR Legal Services.
